How often are services held?
As a small synagogue, our service schedule varies. We hold a full schedule of High Holy Day services, and observe most of the Jewish holidays through the year as well. Friday evening (Kabbalat) services are typically held twice each month, and Saturday morning Torah services are usually held once each month. Please check our calendar for specific service dates and times.
How many members does CBH have?
We currently have about 45 member households.
What do I get for my membership dues?
Oodles! On top of the regular benefits of membership like a High Holy Day tickets, access to religious school, a “members only” name tag, invitation to CBH Shares Shabbat dinners, and reduced prices to events and classes, our congregational family and rabbinical services are there to support you through life’s challenges and joys. You will also be supporting our synagogue and the great programs we offer and keeping the Jewish presence growing in Kitsap County. Our members find they get back much more than they pay for.

What if I can’t afford membership dues?
We have dues reductions and endowments available for those in need. Contact our treasurer for more information. No one will be turned away due to their inability to pay!
What kind of memberships are available?
The Standard Membership is typical for most members.
“Dual Membership” is available to those who are affiliated with another congregation but would like to also call Congregation Beth Hatikvah their home! Dual Member have all the benefits of standard members at a reduced pledge level.
Associate (Provisional) Membership is for folks on the conversion track who are not yet eligible for standard membership. Although these members do not have voting privileges, may not serve on the Board of Trustees, and may not chair certain committees, for all intents and purposes we consider them part of our congregational family at Congregation Beth Hatikvah.
