Join us for a Shabbat Family Learning Experience with Debbie Massarano starting on Saturday, October 21st at 10:00am.

We will join together for singing, schmoozing, noshing, and learning.  Activities will focus on a different theme each month and be geared to students of all ages and their families. Our first theme will be "Shabbat in a Box" - create all the things you will need to celebrate Shabbat at home. The Shabbat Family Learning Experience is an extension of our Religious School program, but we hope congregants and guests of all ages will join in the fun and learning.

Future dates: 11/4, 12/2, 1/6, 2/3, 3/3, 4/14, and 5/5

Debbie Massarano has been a Jewish Educator since she was in her teens.  She began with teaching Religious School Hebrew to fourth graders, moved on to teaching in Jewish Day Schools, worked as a Regional Educator for the Union for Reform Judaism, served two congregations as Director of Lifelong Learning, and most recently, served as Executive Director of Livnot Chai.  Debbie has dedicated her career to building relationships – with people, between people and Torah, and between people and the Jewish Community.  She lives in Mountlake Terrace with her daughter Abby, and granddog, Muzi.  She has a great story about how she and her adult children all made their way to the Seattle area.  Ask her about it!!
